Walter Toynbee Wood
17th March 1914 to 6th Aug 1997
Trained in Switzerland as a waiter and rose to become Head Waiter at the prestigious Waldorf Hotel in London. Having served in the Military Police during World War 2, Walter returned to Yorkshire and opened his own bakery and grocery shop. It was here he met Colin Kemshell son of George
George William Kemshell
5th June 1914 to 7th Sept 1965
In the 1930s George had a Cycle & General Repair business. He served his country in the Royal Engineers during World War 2. After the War, George started his engineering business inventing and manufacturing specialist machines for the sharpening of lawn mowers and industrial circular saw blades.
